The Problem
After conducting user research, interviews, and data analysis, we identified several key challenges:
- Complex interface: Many students found the SudoStudy interface overwhelming and difficult to navigate.
- Hidden features: Key tools such as study scheduling, personal notes, and learning analytics were hard to find or underutilized.
- Lack of personalization: The learning experience felt generic and didn’t adapt to different student needs or learning styles.
- Low engagement: Average student session time had dropped by 23% in the last 3 months.
Overview
SudoStudy is an online learning platform that provides access to study materials, practice questions, and discussion forums for high school students. Although the platform offers a wide range of features, user engagement and student satisfaction had been declining over the past few months.
Our goal was to redesign the user experience of SudoStudy to make it more intuitive, support effective learning, and increase user retention.
